How we review ClickUp

What this site is
ClickUp Reviews is an independent review aggregator, and its reviews are aggregated by Jean Luc. We are not ClickUp and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about ClickUp across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.
Where the reviews come from
We aggregated 165 published reviews across 6 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real ClickUp user, quoted from its original source:
- G2· Verified business users, from solo founders to enterprise teams.
- Capterra· Verified buyers, mostly small and mid-sized businesses.
- Software Advice· Verified buyers via Gartner Digital Markets; shares its review corpus with Capterra.
- Product Hunt· Makers and early adopters, heavy on startups and indie teams.
- Apple App Store· iPhone and iPad users rating the ClickUp mobile app.
- Google Play· Android users; ClickUp's weakest-rated surface.
How we score and tag
Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by company size (small business or mid-market and up), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The headline score (4.2/5) is the plain average of the star ratings across all 165 reviews. It is not a number we made up, and it is not weighted to flatter the product.
Why we publish critical reviews
A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.
Affiliate disclosure
We earn a commission if you sign up for ClickUp through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the work. It does not influence which reviews we show, how we tag them, or the score we report. The data is the data whether or not you click a link.
Keeping it current
Products and sentiment change. We refresh the review set on a regular basis and re-check facts like pricing and features, and we stamp every page with a “last updated” date so you know how fresh the analysis is. This page was last updated August 7, 2026.
