How we review ClickUp

What this site is

ClickUp Reviews is an independent review aggregator. We are not ClickUp and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about ClickUp across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.

Where the reviews come from

We aggregated 165 published reviews across 6 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real ClickUp user, quoted from its original source:

• Capterra· Verified buyers, mostly small and mid-sized businesses.
• Software Advice· Verified buyers via Gartner Digital Markets; shares its reviews with Capterra.
• Product Hunt· Makers and early adopters, heavy on startups and indie teams.
• Apple App Store· iPhone and iPad users rating the ClickUp mobile app.
• Google Play· Android users; ClickUp's weakest-rated surface.

ClickUp averages 4.3 across 49,000+ ratings on five platforms. The reviews on this site are a hand-picked snapshot of that corpus, chosen to reflect its recurring themes, critical reviews included.

How we score and tag

Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by audience (small business or mid-market+), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The verdict score on the homepage is the count-weighted average of the platforms' own public ratings, using the counts listed above. Our snapshot skews toward written and critical reviews on purpose, so its plain average (4.2/5) can run lower than the platform-wide figure. Neither number is made up, and neither is weighted to flatter the product.

Review lists open sorted by "Most relevant": detailed, recent reviews that describe what ClickUp did for the writer come first, drawn from a mix of platforms, and the critical ones come after. Switch the sort to Newest, Highest rating, or Lowest rating, or filter to Critical, to read them in another order. The order never changes the averages above, which count every review we show.

Why we publish critical reviews

A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.
