Working in the accounting field due dates and timelines are very important and this was a great way to keep me on track. The ability to see what everyone has completed cut out interruptions which was a huge time saver. It also worked great for time tracking for billable hours. I've used the version where you pay and it was a good value to hold shared documents.” Cons: “The only thing I think that would improve click up would be a reminder. If you are active, but not clocking any time a little reminder would be helpful. Or if you are on a project for multiple hours, an are you still there pop up to avoid over charging for time.”

I will admit I did try downloading this once, but I looked kind of complex from the mobile app. But after wanted to try something new to manage my personal and professional tasks and goals, I gave it a whirl and dove into it had first and it’s mind blowing how many features you get even with the free version! It gives you a few automations, which is really nice for like auto assigning tasks to yourself, the web browser is very easy to navigate and I like the idea that you can tag all your favorites at the top to quickly navigate where you want to go. For an enterprise or an organization, needing a robust project management software, I could imagine any of the page versions being a ton of horsepower. For me personally the free version does more than I needed to do manage my own tasks. Thanks ClickUp you’re at the head of the pack.!”

I always end up creating tasks in the backlog first and then moving them over, which gets annoying.”

“This mobile app isn’t great… It feels like someone started building an app, then slapped a web window into the parts they didn’t have time for yet. Things take a long time to load and it just lacks polish and refinement (especially as seen with the widgets looking like an iFrame embed on my Home Screen, with large dark borders around the content). For now, I’ll use the workaround of adding tasks to another app, then maybe automate them getting imported into ClickUp that way. Or use a ClickUp form. Either way, this app isn’t really useful to me. Hoping for more updates and improvements in the future! I LOVE ClickUp on desktop and think that the app is so well thought-out and executed there. 👏🏻Update: They responded and thixed the iFrame embed look on the widget! Looks so much more at home now to get a quick glance at tasks. I’m realizing my issue with the app is the “My List” tab. I’d rather the ability to add columns be added to the view settings, than at the end of every item. The free plan gives you a generous amount of options to use but if you need more options for teams you'll have to upgrade.” Pros: “This a one stop app for tasks, goals, mind maps documents the lot. Reminders and events can sync with everyone involved to ensure productivity stays high. Customer service was also pretty good.” Cons: “Their A.I feature is at best mediocre with an additional fee per month. There isn't a feature to create invoices and bill inside the app. The proofing option wasn't as robust as I would've liked either.”

Managing many clients/locations of our business is challenging and the boards and timelines don't work easily. There was little to no support with set up and the customer service didn't seem to be the most responsive. Although it is fairly cheap, it shows in the quality. Value for money isn't worth it in my opinion. We switched to another project management software and have had much better success.”

You add a task, and it doesn't show up, so you add it again, and then you have two. You move a task to a new column on your Kanban board and it shows back up where it was. I don't know if it's the codebase itself or the servers where it's all hosted, but it truly does become impossible to use for days at a time. IF it did everything it's capable of, it would be hands down the best project management available. As it is right now, it's hard to recommend. I would gladly take half as many features if it were actually reliable. It's extremely frustrating to see them constantly adding "new things" when the current version is so difficult to use.”

Then, three months ago, we were no longer able to use the “Notes” feature. Every time we clicked it, we received a prompt stating that we needed to upgrade to the Business Plan. That’s $19 per license instead of the $10 we were already paying. No heads-up, no explanation—just locked out. Naturally, I contacted support. They said they’d “look into it” and get back to me. They never did—radio silence. Fast forward a few weeks, and someone from ClickUp asked how happy I was with the product. I told them the truth: I was frustrated and disappointed. They said, “We’ll fix it.” Nothing got fixed. Then someone else from their team followed up, claiming the issue was resolved. It wasn’t. I replied again, let them know. Still broken. And just when I thought I’d seen it all, someone from support reached out today with this confusing explanation: apparently, for workspaces created before June 11, there's a “legacy paywall” that only allows 100 uses of some advanced time-tracking features—even on the Unlimited Plan. Whatever that’s supposed to mean. Feels like they’re just making up rules as they go. Here’s the kicker: I manage a bunch of tools for my team—tons of licenses from different companies. And out of all of them, ClickUp is the only one that’s ever pulled this kind of nonsense. Confusing policies, no communication, and a total lack of accountability. Hot garbage for tablet users

“I use ClickUp every single day for two different businesses and I bought an iPad so that I would be able to work when away from my desk/computer. I have tried endlessly to access ClickUp on my iPad for over a month and it’s been a waste of time. I pay for it, and it’s something that I genuinely have never had an issue with on a desktop or even my phone, but nothing I have done has worked on this tablet. I have downloaded, removed, re-downloaded, tried using it in Safari, tried using it in Chrome, everything. It “requires iOS 16.4 or later” - my brand new iPad is completely up to date but the app doesn’t let me get past the error pages stating I need to update the app. I’ve tried accessing and signing in using a browser; the second I hit “Log In”, I’m redirected to the “Sign Up” page. I have completely wiped and reset my iPad, thinking that would fix it, but it’s the same garbage every time. ClickUp works great on desktop. It even works on my phone. But to be paying for a platform and not even being able to find a work-around is the most infuriating experience, I’m contemplating just finding a completely new software for myself and my team. If you only need to utilize ClickUp on a desktop or laptop, it’s fine, but the fact that you can’t use the app or even try to work around that and use it in a browser is absolutely insane.”

“The Web interface is ok, would be nice if ClickUp indicated the name of the Project/Folder in the Task description, so when you have projects/folders with similar Tasks on other projects, you know which one your updating. This is challenging when working on multiple projects with similar workflow and tasks w/sub tasks. & list. Would also be nice if ClickUp linked with your other calendars. Has potential with some additional enhancements. If your a drag and drop person using Kanban, you may like this. I prefer Kanban, List and Integrated Calendar. All these tasks apps appear to be lacking in Calendar integration with visibility and clear naming of Task association to Folder/Project; as if Outlook email, meeting invites and other standard office tools no longer exist. Example: Common Tasks performed on every project might be “Send Intro Letter to Customer”. Since the view arranges in order of flow with not Project name indicated, there could be several “Send Intro Letter to Customers” indicated with no means to know which project its for. It’s also Difficult to indicate due date/time if you can’t see the other things in your Outlook Calendar such as Meeting request, etc. Again has potential, but these items are a must for me, so.....maybe in the future I’ll reconsider if the added functions are there. Again, iPad interface is terrible and not even remotely close to that of the web version.”

Trying to get set up on the desktop version has been a true struggle with numerous bugs and incorrect instructions from their AI hallucinating things that don't exist to the interface breaking repeatedly. I still want it to work but now there isn't even a usable ap so I'm not sure how long I'm going to continue the struggle.”
